Know Disasters

Know Disasters, a bi-monthly magazine has been promoting knowledge transfer and dissemination of information on all aspects of disaster risk management by demystifying and simplifying the disaster risk reduction (DRR) measures to all the stakeholders, including the common men and women, community, youth, and children. This magazine also serves as a platform for practitioners, policymakers, and academicians whose objectives are to improve international, national, and regional capacities for disaster-risk analysis, management, and governance. The magazine includes perspectives, best practices, lessons learned, studies, innovations of non-government organizations, intergovernmental organizations, government, policymakers, academia, and international organizations. It also covers youth and children’s perspectives. Thus, the Know Disasters magazine encourages field practitioners and managers to share their thoughts and experiences.
